Thanks for taking a look at my website! I’m Gunnar, the owner/photographer for Gunnar Cook Photography. You may notice that I have the absolute best job in the world. I take it seriously, but definitely enjoy laughing at myself. You will most likely see me climb a tree, wall, goal post or any other ridiculous thing during your time spent shooting with me because sometimes it’s just what you have to do to get the shot. I also tend to end up in some sort of body of water during shoots as well, regardless of the season. When I’m not out shooting, you will likely find me (still shooting) while:

-Traveling

-Playing video games

-Playing in bands

-Rock climbing

-Kayaking/canoeing

-Hiking/adventuring

-Wandering about the cities

-Spending time on the North Shore

-Mountain biking

I enjoy photographing people being themselves doing the things they love, and I believe doing this is what can make a photo really unique.
